Moon is earth's natural Satellite. Earth have only one natural Satellite. Moon's diameter is 3,474.2 km. Distance between earth and moon is 384,400 km. And moon's gravity is 1.62m/s^2.

And The moon's surface area is about 14.6 million square miles. And the moon is drifting away from the earth. And moon have water.

The moon's orbit around earth has a sidereal period of 27.3 days.

Moon is the fifth largest satellite in the solar system.

Because of the moon earth have 4 season. The moon has a very thin atmosphere called an exosphere.

Earth's only natural Satellite is simply called the moon. People didn't know other moons existed until Galileo galilei discovered four moons orbiting Jupiter in 1610.

More than 105 robotic spacecraft have been launched to explore the moon. It is the only celestial body beyond earth. The moon's weak atmosphere and its lack of liquid water cannot support life as we know it.

The earth and the moon are tidily locked. Their rotations are so in sync we only see one side of the moon. Humans didn't see the lunar far side until a Soviet spacecraft flew past in 1959.
